Emily graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018 as well as a Diploma in Naturopathy. She is qualified to use dry needling as part of her treatments. Emily is registered with the regulatory body of the profession, the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).
Emily has seen an osteopath herself for various health conditions throughout her life; this gave her the initial love and respect for the profession. It also gave her the drive to study for four years to give back and help others. As Emily suffers from conditions such as headaches and Fibromyalgia, she has a deep understanding of what patients need and how osteopathy can help.
Emily works with a wide variety of patients, of all ages and a variety of health conditions, and has a passion to solve the underlying problem and relieve pain. She believes that a clear explanation of the diagnosis is essential for the patient to understand the underlying problem, and that a clear treatment plan is made to work together with the patient for a full recovery.
Outside of clinic, Emily is a keen swimmer and water polo player; this has given her an interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation.
Emily works constantly to increase diversity within her treatments and has recently added Paediatric and Cranial Osteopathy to her range of skills. She has already been successful at treating babies as young as six weeks old.
